Born out of the hearts and minds of a few very inspired students who were determined to make the most of their careers.

Approximately 7 years ago in classrooms and on the clinic floor at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, we dreamed big of barber-stylist careers that would raise us out of whatever our circumstances were back then. We also confidently dreamed and talked about how we could 'change the game'. Everybody had their reasons for going to barber school.

 "Los used to proudly yell 'WE ARE BARBERS!' (in his best Farmers Insurance commercial jingle voice) throughout the halls at Tricoci. I told him that sounds like something we need to tell the world when we make it. We weren't preparing to be the barbers we grew up with, we were preparing to change the industry",  - Jihad

Today we are business owners, educators, and industry influencers mentoring and providing opportunities for yet another generation of barbers and stylists. Many people make it out of the mud or change their circumstances in life through music careers, professional sports,  various creative arts, and athletic disciplines. We are happy to say that WE ARE BARBERS! And these are our stories.
